To support this journey, we’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team, someone who understands that success isn’t ordinary, and neither is the path we’re on.

The Role

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of the parts and processes that power our race team. You’ll lead critical fault investigations, partner across Engineering, Production and Assembly, and embed proactive quality measures that strengthen our foundations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading high‑priority fault investigations, identifying root causes, containing issues, and driving long-term solutions.
  • Hosting Supervisor‑to‑Manager meetings, shaping quality strategy and guiding teams on initiatives that elevate their performance.
  • Reducing non‑conforming parts and assemblies released from production and assembly.
  • Delivering preventative quality systems across Operations, including PFMEA activity.
  • Coaching and advising Engineering, Production, and Assembly teams on best practice for fault resolution and NCR management.
  • Acting as a technical mentor within the Quality function, supporting Quality Engineers through complex investigations.
  • Promoting Williams Values & Behaviours and championing continuous improvement across all areas.

What You’ll Bring

  • A broad understanding of quality, inspection and manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving and failure mode analysis.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (BEng).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire buy‑in at every level.
  • A structured, organised approach and the resilience to perform under pressure.
  • A positive, change-driven mindset aligned with our mission and values.
