Senior Quality Assurance (Packaging) - Contractual

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

1. Conduct detailed quality reviews of packaging designs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, specifications, and customer requirements.
2. Ensure packaging designs are accurate, error-free, and meet technical specifications such as dimensions, structural integrity etc.
3. Verify that design files (e.g., die-lines, fonts, graphics) are production-ready and aligned with specifications.
4. Ensure proper alignment of logos, text, and images according to brand guidelines.
5. Work closely with design and production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend design improvements.
6. Monitor and analyze defect trends, offering solutions to minimize design errors.
7. Develop and implement QA processes, checklists, and tools to streamline packaging reviews.
8. Stay updated on packaging industry trends, materials, and innovative quality practice.

Desired Skills and Experience Required

1. 5+ years of experience working in package design/advertising agency as a QA of production assets.
2. Strong understanding of prepress and print production requirements, including color management, bleed, and die-line preparation.
3. Should be comfortable in reviewing content in non-English language like Asian Languages and European languages.
4. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring error-free print and packaging deliverables.
5. Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC/PRO, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for checking packaging designs.
6. Knowledge of printing processes, like offset, digital, flexography etc.
7. Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
8. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices.
