We are looking for an elite Senior QA Engineer with a deep specialization in Automation and API Testing to lead our quality initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-performance software for our global clients. 

Role Overview  

As a Senior QA Engineer (6+ Years), you will be the technical anchor of our quality department. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, moving seamlessly between strategic test planning, sophisticated API validation, and the development of robust automation frameworks. You will collaborate with DevOps and Development teams to bake quality into the CI/CD pipeline and mentor junior engineers in modern testing methodologies. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Strategy & Planning: Define comprehensive test strategies and QA processes; identify project risks and implement "Shift-Left" testing practices. 

• API Test Engineering: Design and execute advanced API test cases; validate request/response payloads, schemas (JSON/XML), and authentication (OAuth/JWT) using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI. 

• Automation Leadership: Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Selenium/Playwright); identify high-impact automation opportunities to increase release velocity. 

• Complex Execution: Perform deep-dive functional, integration, and regression testing for enterprise web applications; validate intricate business logic and system workflows. 

• CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins/Azure DevOps pipelines to ensure continuous quality feedback. 

• Defect Governance & RCA: Lead defect triaging and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues to prevent recurrence. 

• Mentorship: Review test cases and automation code; guide the team in technical best practices and drive a high-performance quality culture. 

Technical Skills & Qualifications  

• Expertise: 6+ years in SQA with a mastery of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies. 

• API Mastery: Expert knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, HTTP methods, and backend validation tools (Postman, Swagger). 

• Automation Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in building frameworks with Playwright (preferred), Selenium or Rest Assured. 

• Database & Tools: Proficiency in SQL for data validation and Jira/Azure DevOps for defect management. 

• Good to Have: Experience in performance testing (JMeter), mobile testing (Android/iOS), and containerized environments (Docker).
