Senior Purchase Executive - SCM (for Scale-up procurement)

Manage procurement of chemicals, reagents, solvents, and consumables for scale-up and kilo-lab projects.

Identify and develop suppliers for specialised or hard-to-source chemicals.

Align purchase requirements with technical specifications shared by scientists and project teams.

Ensure all procured materials meet regulatory, safety, and documentation standards.

Deliver fast and reliable sourcing to meet project-critical scale-up timelines.

Negotiate cost, quality, and delivery terms with domestic and international vendors.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement and costing records.

Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and stores for timely material receipt and QA release.

Maintain project-wise inventory levels and prevent delays due to material shortages.

Track and evaluate vendor performance for quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Conduct market research and identify alternate suppliers for niche or rare chemicals.
