Senior Purchase Executive

We are looking for a senior purchase executive for a leading manufacturing company, requiring a sharp and proactive Purchase Specialist to ensure they have the right materials.

• Strong academic record.
• Experience working with well-known manufacturing companies in India or internationally.
• At least 4-5 years of experience buying BOM (Bill of Materials) or ROM (Raw and Other Materials). (Experience with only buying BOP (Balance of Plant) is not enough).
• Proven ability to find new suppliers independently.
• Strong skills in getting the best prices.
• A bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Good at using MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Able to keep information private.

• Make sure the plant always has the materials it needs at the best cost. You might need to visit suppliers.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers fairly and honestly.
• Place orders after they are approved.
• Find ways to lower the cost of materials.
• Identify and develop new suppliers in India and other countries for the materials needed.
• Report on your work every day using company s formats.
• Work with the quality team and suppliers to fix quality problems.
• Get rid of materials that are not required anymore.
• Work with other departments to make sure the raw materials process runs smoothly.
• Watch prices regularly and report on them.
• Manage transportation (work with suppliers to fix delivery issues like shortages or delays).
• Answer questions from suppliers about orders.
