Job Description Summary

This role is part of the IT Finance Systems team and is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions supporting Intercompany operations and Record-to-Report processes as GE HealthCare transitions to Oracle Fusion Financials. The role will lead and support digital finance transformation initiatives with a strong focus on intercompany accounting, trade and manufacturing scenarios, and global financial process harmonization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead conception and implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials solutions with a focus on Intercompany Accounting, FAH/SLA, GL, and integrations.

  • Partner with Finance, Controllership, Tax, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to design scalable intercompany processes including trade and non-trade, transfer pricing, cost-plus models, markup, profit-in-inventory, and eliminations.

  • Support Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion migration initiatives, including data migration, redesign of intercompany processes, and adoption of Fusion best practices.

  • Support hybrid-state operations during EBS and Fusion coexistence while driving simplification, standardization, and legacy decommissioning aligned to migration roadmap.

  • Drive end-to-end project lifecycle activities: requirements, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, CRP/UAT, cutover, and hypercare.

  • Design and oversee integrations with upstream/downstream systems using middleware platforms such as Boomi.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, profit-in-inventory, and elimination processes in a global manufacturing and trade environment.

  • Provide thought leadership on industry best practices for finance transformation, close automation, and intercompany optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with architecture, development, and product teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery quality.

  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.

  • Partners with Development Leadership to ensure healthy development process.

  • Mentors junior team members.

  • Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 8+ years of Finance Systems experience with strong focus on Intercompany and Record-to-Report processes.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, specifically Intercompany, GL, FAH/SLA, and related modules.

  • Experience supporting trade and manufacturing intercompany processes, including transfer pricing and inventory profit elimination.

  • Full lifecycle ERP implementation experience (minimum 2–3 Fusion or large-scale ERP programs).

  • Strong understanding of global legal entity structures, consolidations, and tax-sensitive intercompany flows.

Desired / Added Advantage

  • Prior Oracle EBS R12 to Oracle Fusion migration experience.

  • Exposure to Blackline, Trintech, Workiva, Oracle EPM, or similar close and reconciliation tools.

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIMA/CGMA, or CFA.

  • Experience working in large, global manufacturing or healthcare organizations.

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
