About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join us on a 6‑month contract, working on complex, high‑availability networks with opportunities to influence design, performance and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support across core network and roadside network environments.
Maintain high network availability, security compliance, PCI DSS and timely patching.
Monitor network performance and resolve issues proactively.
Manage incidents, service requests and changes within SLA and ITIL processes.
Design and implement network solutions for projects, ensuring high availability and security.
Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification of network operations.

Key Skills & Experience

Advanced Cisco expertise (routers, switches, wireless, Nexus).
Strong routing knowledge: VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution.
Advanced Palo Alto firewall experience.
Experience with ICS/SCADA networks (Modbus, PLC, control systems).
Ability to work in mission‑critical, high‑availability environments with minimal supervision.
Highly organised communicator with strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
