All about the role:

The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing mechanical solutions and independently managing projects to implement the solutions in line with established objectives. The role involves supporting the rollout of new product variants according to the set plan by creating and verifying documentation compliant with the defined process.

What you will do:

  • Design and modify mechanical solutions for dishwashers and independently implement them in production to reduce costs, improve quality, and support assembly.

  • Prepare product documentation, including UI graphics (control panels), drilling templates, and component/product specifications.

  • Support new product variants by creating and verifying process‑compliant documentation.

  • Implement solutions according to defined processes and project goals while working in cross‑functional, multicultural teams.

  • Solve complex technical issues by applying existing methods or developing innovative solutions within defined procedures.

  • Acquire knowledge, create and update component/module specifications, and lead homologation processes by interpreting test results and making approval decisions.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and standardization to enhance product quality and services delivered to internal teams and suppliers.

  • Provide technical support for projects designed or led by other functions.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and/or designing parts for mass production

  • Extensive, hands‑on experience working with steel - including steel components design, material selection, and practical understanding of steel‑related technologies,

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Advanced English proficiency

  • Experience in creating documentation for components/ modules/ products

  • Strong experience and knowledge in the following areas:

- Preparing product documentation and/or process documentation

- Deep understanding of steel grades, coating types, and design principles for steel parts using available manufacturing technologies

  • Advanced proficiency in: Catia V5 and/or NX, Adobe Illustrator, MS Office, MS Teams, TeamCenterSkilled in cross‑functional cooperation, with a strong drive for results

  • Experience in project management and change management
