Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Digital Product – Pharmacy plays a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering digital pharmacy products that improve access, affordability, and experience for customers and colleagues. This role is accountable for owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across one or more pharmacy-focused digital platforms or capabilities, including patient journeys, prescription fulfillment, pharmacy operations, clinical services, and omnichannel experiences.
As part of a high-performing, cross functional product organization, this role partners closely with Business Partners, Design and Engineering, forming a “Four‑in‑a‑Box” product model (Business, Design, Engineering, Product). The Senior Manager leads teams to translate complex business, regulatory, and clinical needs into scalable, secure, and customer‑centered digital solutions.
This is an individual contributor, leadership role responsible for driving outcomes through influence and establishing strong product management practices while operating in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps
Define, own, and continuously refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned pharmacy digital products in partnership with design, engineering and business teams.
Translate customer, colleague, and business needs into clear product initiatives, epics, and outcomes aligned to enterprise priorities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment options, develop business cases, and prioritize initiatives that maximize clinical, customer, and financial impact.
Connect product roadmaps to business objectives, value drivers, OKRs, and strategic programs across the pharmacy ecosystem.
Align roadmaps, backlogs, timelines, capacity, and dependencies across interconnected pharmacy systems and teams.
Define and track product OKRs and success metrics to measure progress toward outcomes and inform roadmap evolution.
Product Backlog Ownership, User Story Development, and Prioritization
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities reflect customer value, regulatory needs, technical health, and business outcomes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable intent.
Identify and manage dependencies across pharmacy systems, vendors, and channels; ensure teams are planning for future increments.
Incorporate learning from delivery, customer feedback, operational insights, and performance data back into the backlog.
Product Value, Cross Functional Teaming, and Stakeholder Management
Lead continuous discovery efforts to ensure teams are solving the right pharmacy problems with the highest impact.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for communicating product progress, risks, tradeoffs, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure business strategies, solutions, and targeted outcomes are clearly understood and reflected in product execution.
Trend Monitoring and Product Performance
Establish feedback loops using qualitative and quantitative insights to monitor product health and performance.
Track and socialize progress against product OKRs and KPIs, including adoption, conversion, task completion, cycle time, errors, and experience metrics.
Leverage analytics, experimentation, and hypothesis driven learning to improve pharmacy journeys and operational efficiency.
Coordinate product launches, feature rollouts, pilots, and beta testing, ensuring readiness across operations, support, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of owning and delivering consumer-facing products at scale. Proven ability to translate complex requirements into user‑centric solutions.
7+ years of experience with ownership of end‑to‑end product strategy and complex roadmaps, with a proven ability to influence cross functional stakeholders and manage tradeoffs, dependencies, and changing priorities. Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize outcomes.
5+ years of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Must be able to work east coast business hours
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with pharmacy systems, prescription lifecycle management, clinical services, fulfillment, or omnichannel healthcare experiences.
Experience with data tools such as Jira, Adobe, or similar tools
Demonstrated ability to operate in regulated environments, effectively balancing customer experience, compliance, and operational risk.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
