Team Summary

The Visa Direct Card (VDC) AP team is responsible for leading all Visa Direct to Card money-movement solutions across the APAC region acting as a Centre of Excellence for in-market teams. The team focuses on new and existing use cases in card money movement for financial institutions, fintech’s, enablers, remitters, and FX businesses across the region. These include use cases utilizing transaction types such as Account Funding Transactions (AFTs) and Original Credit Transactions (OCT). The team will collaborate closely with AP cluster sales, solutioning, product, ecosystem enablement, strategy and pricing.

What a Senior Manager, Visa Direct Card does at Visa:

This role will report into the Head of Visa Direct Card for Asia Pacific. The role will help set the vision and drive the long-term growth agenda for VDC money movement platform.

  • Support the development and execution of the Visa Direct Card multiyear strategy for sales acceleration, including determining high potential client targets, use cases and verticals, etc.
  • Program and project management of regional strategic initiatives
  • Drive thought leadership as the VDC product SME and provide sales enablement support to AP clusters to drive new VDC program launches, market expansion and use case activation
  • Partner with product, pricing, and ecosystem enablement teams to develop Visa Direct Card as a competitive money movement platform across use cases
  • Work with AP clusters and finance business partners to structure high value, commercial deals
  • Work with Visa Direct Product and Client Services Teams to support client launches post contract execution

What you will need:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years experience in strategy and program management within the financial/payments industry in Asia
  • Deep understanding of fintech, banking landscape and payment systems in AP, including regulatory dynamics and digital innovation trends
  • Strong business acumen in P&L management and data analytics
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence; must be able to interface with senior client executives
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in an approachable way to influence and drive adaption

What will also help:

  • Push payments or real-time payments experience a plus

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
