Senior Manager, Merchandising Operations, Home Entertainment Next Gen–In-Store Experience
Position Summary...
Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Entertainment Next Gen – In-Store Experience program. This role will define and execute the strategy to modernize and elevate the in-store entertainment experience across gaming, streaming, consumer electronics, computing, audio, and emerging digital ecosystems.This leader will translate entertainment trends into scalable in-store concepts that drive traffic, engagement, and incremental revenue while strengthening Walmart’s position as the destination for entertainment discovery.
What you'll do...
- Own the strategic roadmap for next-generation entertainment in-store initiatives.
- Develop and pilot innovative merchandising concepts, interactive experiences, and cross-category activations.
- Lead high-impact launches and exclusive programs with key entertainment and gaming partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, and Finance partners, and Fixture Suppliers.
- Scale successful pilots across regions and divisions.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, or in-store innovation.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ownership of Project Management.
- Experience managing new initiatives and launching across store initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex retail environment.
- Strategic mindset with operational execution capability.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Strong program governance with clear roadmaps, milestones, risk management, and executive-ready reporting.
- On-time, on-budget delivery of pilots and national rollouts through disciplined PMO execution.
- Clear alignment across Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, Finance partners and Fixture Suppliers.
- Effective cross-functional decision-making that reduces friction and accelerates execution.
- Well-defined playbooks and scalable processes enabling consistent implementation across store formats.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
