We are looking for a capable Global Mobility leader to oversee and advance Crunchyroll's global mobility programs across a rapidly scaling, international organization.

As a Sr. Manager, Global Mobility, you will be the primary owner of mobility execution and operational excellence across immigration and relocation. We ask that you have a balance of program ownership, technical expertise, and sound judgment, in navigating complex immigration matters, global mobility practices, and cross-border employment considerations.

You will partner closely with People Experience COEs, Legal, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and external vendors including immigration counsel to ensure mobility programs are compliant, efficient, and aligned to business and hiring needs. You will also play a critical role in ensuring that mobility processes support hiring velocity, candidate experience, and global workforce strategy.

This is a hands-on leadership role operating at a high level of autonomy, responsible for managing complexity, driving consistency, and elevating how Crunchyroll approaches global mobility at scale.

Position based in the Los Angeles office.

What You'll Do

Immigration & Visa Strategy and Execution

  • Own end-to-end immigration operations in partnership with external immigration counsel, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality case management across multiple geographies.
  • Be the primary internal point of contact for complex immigration matters, advising HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on risks, timelines, and appropriate pathways.
  • Manage relationships with external immigration attorneys and vendors, ensuring strong communication, responsiveness, and quality of counsel.
  • Oversee tracking of visa expirations, renewals, status changes, and compliance deadlines, ensuring no gaps in coverage or risk exposure.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all immigration documentation, filings, and case records.
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with all applicable immigration laws and regulatory requirements.

Relocation Program Management

  • Oversee the administration of domestic and international relocation programs, ensuring consistent, scalable, and policy-aligned execution.
  • Partner with relocation vendors to deliver a high-quality experience while maintaining cost discipline and operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to employees, hiring managers, and HR partners on relocation options, timelines, and expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, holding partners accountable to service levels and outcomes.
  • Track and analyze relocation spend, trends, and program effectiveness to inform decision-making.

Program Ownership & Operational Excellence

  • Own the day-to-day operations of the global mobility function, ensuring consistent application of policies, processes, and standards.
  • Identify and improve mobility processes, workflows, and systems to increase scalability and reduce friction.
  • Establish and maintain centralized tracking and reporting across all mobility activity (immigration, relocation, costs, timelines).
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, playbooks, and guidance materials to support consistency and clarity across stakeholders.
  • Ensure mobility processes are aligned with broader TA Operations infrastructure and support efficient hiring and onboarding timelines.

Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory

  • Be a trusted advisor to HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business leaders on global mobility considerations, including immigration feasibility, relocation strategy, and compliance risks.
  • Communicate complex immigration, relocation, and global employment concepts in a clear, practical, and business-relevant way.
  • Proactively surface risks, constraints, and trade-offs to support informed decision-making.
  • Support education and awareness across the business on mobility practices, timelines, and limitations.
  • Manage sensitive and high-stakes situations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, relocation, or a related HR operations function, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
  • Deep expertise in employment-based immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM, EU Blue Card, and other global frameworks as applicable).
  • Experience partnering directly with external immigration counsel and effectively managing attorney relationships and case strategy.
  • Strong understanding of global mobility practices, including relocation, cross-border employment considerations, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage complex, multi-country mobility cases with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance compliance, cost, candidate experience, and hiring urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
  • High attention to detail, strong operational rigor, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience operating with autonomy and sound judgment in ambiguous or evolving situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in a global, high-growth, or scaling organization.
  • Familiarity with global mobility tax considerations (high-level awareness; not tax design).
  • Experience with mobility tracking tools, HRIS systems, and reporting dashboards.
  • Experience building or scaling mobility processes, playbooks, or systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
