EXPECTED END RESULTS

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Execution of Technical Training (Both Service Repair & Body Repair streams) & Manpower Development of Dealerships

  • Strategize Key pillars related to Network /Dealer staff Technical Skill enhancement, Quality Improvement
  • Management of Nissan Academy/RTC Facility
  • Enhancement of reach at Network wrt Brand and Product awareness; Ensure the actions as per Nissan Way recommendations & Guidelines
  • Manage NMIPL Trainer and certification at Nissan Academy
  • Handling external Regional Trainers [2 Nos.] and support staff respectively
  • Release and updates of Training Policy & Procedure Manual (need based)
  • Responsible for Training cost recovery/Chargeback activities at Network as per policies (need based)
  • Monitoring the budgets & spends (Capex, Opex)
  • Responsible to gauge/monitor the Post Training effectiveness and administer improvements as per needs
  • Coordination with AMIO Academy upon new curriculum launch plans
  • Vendor management for conducting Bodyshop trainings.
  • Coordination with NML GAS/GAN depts... as per Business requirements: NISTEC/NISAC Contests, New Model TTTs etc.
  • Visits to Dealerships to ascertain business process execution, identification of Training needs and improvement actions as per requirements

Training Planning, Execution and Allied actions

  • Working close with AS Field & Tech-Hub team and align strategic actions with Nissan Academy pillar objectives
  • Identifying business priorities and developing new training programs for Dealership Business enhancement (RSA, Accessories etc.)
  • Roll out of Monthly calendars & new curriculum for After Sales Dealer Staff (Domestic/NSCs) as applicable covering - Roll out of NSTEP Trainings – Basic, Specialist and Master Levels respectively
  • Execution of Specific trainings like NCW, Final Inspectors, F1 enhancement (TSB, RCK)
  • Technical Training effectiveness check – Launch of skill assessment program & NSTEP Refresher training courses
  • Technical trainings to Bodyshop Network, Aligning with suppliers as per requirements

New Model trainings

  • Oversee MSA documentation and scope of Technical Trainings with relevant stakes
  • Close interaction with stakes inclusive of NML, RNAIPL, RNTBCI & RAC as per needs
  • Representation of Nissan Academy functions at NMIPL LCMs, reporting on key milestones (SOP, DJM)
  • Training preparation, content development (both online & offline) both In-house and thro Agencies as per business requirements
  • Procurement of vehicles and or aggregates as per needs
  • Release of training calendar and ensuring timely delivery of the new model courses as per needs
  • Uploading the contents in GLMS Portal; assigning the courses to the Dealer learner groups

Key focus areas – Network skill enhancement – Global KPI perspective

  • Conducting NSTEP Technical trainings to Dealer Service team regularly [Global KPI]
  • Aligning India actions towards NML/AMIEO Direction of launching new Gen NSTEP Curriculum
  • Execution of NSTEP Body Shop trainings
  • Ensuring Availability of Master Tech/NSTEP III Course [Global KPI] at Network as per eligibility
  • Aligning India actions towards trainer skill enhancement, TTT programs & certifications organized by AMIEO & NML offices

5. RTC Facility management

  • Establishment and Management of Regional Training Centre (RTC) Facility
  • Upkeep of all contracts/PO/Work orders in place and its timely renewals
  • Management of Capex & Opex budget monitoring and reporting activities
  • Ensuring management approvals and monitoring monthly expenses towards Nissan Academy Facility
  • Management of NMIPL Assets (worth of ~5 MINR)
  • Tie-ups with dealers for rolling out trainings at Dealer Locations (Onsite trainings)
  • Liaise with internal stakes at NMIPL such as Legal Dept, Finance and Admin wrt RTC documentation, invoice transactions and periodic reviews

6. Other Key actions

  • Monitoring Manpower availability and Training Status at Network on monthly basis
  • To interact with Dealer staff/trainee participants regularly
  • CFT association with AS Field for F1 Enhancement: Reach out RCK Trainings, Specific VOC solution cascade to Network
  • To assess and improve on the training feedback shared
  • Roll out and execution of Skill Contests
  • Management of GLMS Actions, To represent annual conferences/NTD Annual meets as per needs (NML)
  • Submission & updating the Monthly Reports, Special activity reports, Town Hall meeting Representations
  • TTT/Training for Export Mkt/NSCs as per needs
  • Management of agency bound training actions, the actions related to PO, Commercials etc.
