Summary

The OS Performance Tools team is seeking a visionary senior engineer to take on a lead/architect role for a critical, Apple-internal macOS performance analysis application. This is a unique opportunity to define the future of a tool that is widely used by engineering teams to ship the delightful experiences our customers love. Description

In this role, you will own the technical vision and continued development of a sophisticated performance analysis application for macOS. You will thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working at the center of a dynamic team and engaging with experts across Apple to understand new technologies and translate that knowledge into impactful features.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong OS & systems fundamentals Prior macOS or iOS app development experience Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift Excellent UI/UX design sensibilities to create clean, innovative, and intuitive user experiences Excellent spoken and written communication skills Proven experience leading software projects and defining technical direction

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into a clear technical roadmap Aptitude to independently learn new technologies, prototype, and propose innovative software solutions Passion for product quality and attention to detail
