Job Description
You will manage the and cost‑effective sourcing of services supporting Workplace Services, with a focus on Facilities, Utilities, and site‑related services. The Buyer will support office and site operations in Poland and rest of EMEA, ensuring continuity, compliance, and value delivery across facilities management, utilities, maintenance, and workplace infrastructure. The role includes developing local and regional supply strategies, managing service providers, and driving cost optimization while maintaining high service quality.You will report to the PROCUREMENT MANAGER and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage commodity strategies for Workplace Services, including Facilities Management, Utilities, Maintenance, and Site Services.
- Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers, including negotiations of service agreements and performance management aligned with site and needs.
- Improve projects focused on cost optimization, service quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support to Workplace Services, Facilities, and site partners by delivering sourcing expertise and procurement solutions.
- Prepare and manage RFQs/RFPs for facilities‑related services, utilities, and local site projects.
- Contribute to Global Standard Work and best practices within Indirect Procurement.
- Evaluate existing and potential suppliers based on Total Cost of Ownership principles and service performance metrics.
- Ethically represent us when working with service providers, including supplier meetings, negotiations, contract discussions, and issue resolution.
- Support local facilities and workplace programs by translating operational requirements into sourcing and purchasing solutions.
- Edit and process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and analyze data using SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Coordinate activities with cross‑functional teams, including Workplace Services, Facilities, EHS, Finance, Legal, IT, and Site Leadership.
- Participate in and support coordinated purchase agreement programs aligned with sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards of business conduct, health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable local laws.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in indirect procurement, services sourcing, facilities, or workplace‑related procurement.
- We require legal authorization to work in Poland.
- Language: English required; Polish required; additional languages.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 2+ years of experience sourcing facilities management, utilities, or workplace‑related services.
- Experience supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and service improvement projects.
- Problem‑solve, and project management skills.
- We prefer SAP experience.
- Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, or facilities operations
