About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity within a global, publicly listed organization where you can make a meaningful impact across Hungary while collaborating closely with colleagues at the European and global level.

As an Senior HR Generalist, you will act as a trusted partner to both managers and employees, providing expert guidance and operational support throughout the entire employee life cycle. You will ensure compliance with local HR practices and regulations while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of HR topics during the entire employment life cycle. Manage the HR processes in partnership with EMEA Shared Services for Talent Acquisition, Service Delivery and Payroll including:

  • Onboarding

  • Local accountability for Compensation management leveraging benchmarks and reward frameworks

  • Employment benefits and regulations

  • Absenteeism and reintegration

  • Mobility and flexible work arrangements

  • Engagement & Retention

  • Performance Management

  • Employee Relations, including dispute resolution

  • Offboarding

  • Ensure compliance with Labor Law and corporate guidelines.

  • Manage HR related projects in close partnership with the business, HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence, for:

HR Technology implementation

Reward frameworks, job evaluation and recognition programs

Implementation of HR regulations and solutions

Deploying initiatives to drive employee engagement and development

Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in human resources, law, business management or relevant subject

  • At least 4+ years’ operational and advisory HR experience within a similar role

  • Utilizes highly developed communication skills, including excellent verbal and written Hungarian, Romanian and English.

  • Solid knowledge of employment regulations for Hungary and Romania is essential

  • Proven track record in managing projects

  • Preferably worked within a global company

  • Working within the technology industry or professional services is advantageous

  • Previous experience of working within a complex matrix organization is an advantage

  • Working with a HR Technology is essential, preferably Workday

  • Competence with the MS Office suite including MS Teams and Copilot
