Ferring+You
You will play a key role in the project team, interacting and collaborating directly with all contributing functions in pharmaceutical drug development such as CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical, Commercial and Technical Operations. This is a senior individual contributor position, reporting to the Senior Director, PMO & Portfolio Management for the Clinical & Pharmaceutical Development organisation. The position is a fixed term until 31.03.2027.
Your day at Ferring
Organising development, tracking and reporting of progress against defined project objectives
Ensuring timely and accurate project planning and tracking of progress against plan by updating, maintaining the Global Development Plan and coordinating up-to-date cross-functional project schedules in our PPM solution (Planisware) including baselines, gates and milestones
Maintain overview and facilitate processes related to the project-level budget, monitoring accuracy of project level budget/forecast as well as adherence and flags variances early and proposes corrective actions. Includes annual budget submission
Maintaining and monitoring an updated risk and issue log and proactively addresses emerging issues in the Global Project Team
Supporting recurring reporting including portfolio prioritization, balanced scorecard KPIs and senior leadership governance presentations
Spar with the project leader and support the Global Project Team in providing structure and applying processes including link to PMO tools and the Ferring Project Manual
Provide input to reporting, governance and external communication
Manage project-level risks and apply risk management standards
Behind our innovation…There’s you
University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar (M.Sc. or Ph.D. nice to have)
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with demonstrated project execution experience.
Proven experience in technology transfers
Good working knowledge of Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing, GMP and FDA preferred
Good knowledge of various types of pharmaceutical dosage forms, sterile products
Good command of English (verbal and written)
Good communication (both written/verbal) and listening skills; an ability to persuade others by using evidence (facts and figures) to justify arguments
Ability to represent the business to customers/external stakeholders
Ability to work well as an integral part of a large project team, a team player, task oriented and keen on working in a cross-cultural working environment towards set objectives
