JOB TITLE: Senior Generalist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Generalist at Argano is a seasoned HR professional responsible for leading HR initiatives and providing strategic guidance to business units. This role involves collaborating with leadership teams to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement while implementing people strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives. They respond to inquiries and questions regarding all areas of HR., and they may coach / assist less experienced team members on more complicated / unusual inquiries. Senior Generalists serve as point person with HR generalists / HRBP on specific subject matter areas and they identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responds to inquiries regarding all areas of HR.

· Coaches less experienced team members on more complicated / unusual inquiries.

· Take lead in research / resolution of more complex issues.

· Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify staffing needs.

· Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing and candidate evaluation.

· Support onboarding activities for new hires.

· Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.

· Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.

· Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.

· Provide guidance on salary reviews, promotions, and bonus programs.

· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to compensation and benefits.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

· Update and maintain HR policies and procedures.

· Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR data integrity.

· Utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.

· Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics for management.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, expected.

EXPERIENCE:

· 4-6 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, and general HR functions.

· Solid understanding of HR policies, practices, and administrative guidelines.

· Experience in strategic HR planning and execution.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex HR-related issues. Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Organization: Organizational skills to manage administrative records and data.
  • Client Service Skills: Excellent client service skills, including ability to handle issues in a timely and professional manner
