Overview

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Income Private Credit Analyst to join our team in Pricing and Reference Data. The primary responsibility of the Fixed Income Analyst position will be to evaluate corporate fixed income securities, specifically Leveraged and Private Credit Loans as part of IDS’ Corporate Evaluations Group. The candidate should have an understanding of direct lending, corporate loans and the private credit market.  The candidate must possess a solid understanding of global financial markets, and in particular, a conceptual understanding of the market forces impacting equity and fixed income movements and the determinants of equity and bond valuation. The role requires the evaluator to analyze private credit loans through evaluations, modeling, and due diligence. Success in this position requires that a professional relationship be built with clients, colleagues, and other industry participants.

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating leveraged and private credit loans
  • Analyzing private credit investments including direct lending and special situation loans
  • Strong familiarity with private credit capital structures and terms
  • Have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis
  • Knowledge of cash flows and modeling
  • Monitor industry trends in credit markets across the private credit market sector
  • Reviewing and managing market data and industry identifiers
  • Full understanding of pricing models and the variables that affect evaluations
  • Responding to time-critical customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clearly documented overview of the Evaluation process in accordance with the policies and procedures utilized within the Corporate Evaluations group

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in the Fixed Income Market ideally with trading or analyzing fixed income asset classes
  • Knowledge of global financial markets and awareness of market forces
  • Proficient in practical applications of statistical analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Team player with the willingness to take direction from management
  • Independent self-starter, able to sustain productivity
  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives
  • Ability to facilitate superior market participant relationships
  • PC literate, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

 

New York Base Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $110,000 - 180,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
