Senior Financial Analyst

Brief Description: Reports directly to Senior Director of FP&A providing support primarily in the areas of focus: 1) financial modeling and analysis; 2) Working in cross-functional teams to support company-wide growth initiatives; 3) due diligence administration; and 4) integration administration.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop key macro-economic, end-market and industry assumptions along with operational assumptions in collaboration with various functional teams.
- Construct valuation models for organic and inorganic growth projects with Senior Director of FP&A and support senior management reviews.
- Play a significant role in developing machine learning applications to support operations.
- Support business growth opportunities including acquisition analyses by assisting with:
- Due diligence of target companies
- Preparation of presentation for management
- Integration of new acquisitions
- Project tracking and coordinating
- Serve as back up for other members of FP&A
- Perform other duties as assigned
- MBA with concentration in Finance or equivalent master’s degree
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / metals industry environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to build and analyze comprehensive financial models
- High level skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Demonstrated systems experience with ability to learn new financial and reporting systems (e.g., Onstream)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and work independently, and rapidly respond to frequent, small requests
- CFA / CPA is a plus
