Job Description:
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team and BUs to drive demand creation within a defined customer base, influencing product selection through demonstrations and presentations of digital power products and development tools.
- Provide in-depth engineering support and technical assistance for client hardware and software development.
- Adapt existing reference designs to meet specific customer requirements.
- Conduct hardware and system-level design reviews.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical training.
- Achieve quarterly and annual targets (NNR$, DW$, MBO).
- Monitor and analyze Opportunity, Net New Revenue, and Design-win status on a regular basis.
- Promote products and drive business development across all Microchip product lines, with a primary focus on digital power applications.
- Gather market intelligence, including competitive analysis, SWOT assessments, and future industry trends.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Job Requirements and Mandatory Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of field experience in digital power design is REQUIRED.
- In-depth knowledge of power electronics and MCU/DSP-based digital power control.
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, AC/DC sources, electronic loads, etc.).
- Proven ability to conduct schematic and PCB layout reviews.
- Strong English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when coordinating with internal Business Units (BUs) and distributors.
- Ability to travel as required to domestic and international customer sites, primarily within Greater China.
- Demonstrated experience in effective customer relationship management.
