Overview of job
WPP Media is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Senior Executive, Performance Marketing APAC to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for Planning & Activation the media implementation and buying for the agency. For this role, you will constant involvement in client contact and implementation and delivery of paid digital media campaigns, designing everything from performance strategy, to campaign implementation and ongoing performance reporting. It includes working with multiple third parties in pursuit of excellence in this space and exercising total ownership of plan performance.

What your day job looks like at WPP Media:
Campaign Strategy & Performance
- Receiving client briefs & formulating holistic performance strategies to achieve agreed client KPIs across search, social and programmatic channels
- Maintaining a high-level understanding of latest social and search ad specs, new/beta features, and best practices for executing complex campaigns
- Understand the eCommerce ecosystem and be able to employ the correct performance marketing techniques across these key platforms, integrated within the broader campaign media mix
- Troubleshooting technical issues at all stages of the campaign process from implementation through execution and reporting
- Monitoring campaign performance and pacing and conduct performance analyses on a regular basis, using a data driven approach to optimise campaigns
- Maintain a close working relationship with all third parties (ie PBU) to ensure accurate campaign implementation & performance to KPIs
- Working closely with the rest of the team to integrate reports, learnings and optimise budgets
Media Management
- Liaising closely with media partners and third parties to identify new opportunities in terms of activations, data sources for reporting, effectiveness and performance
- Proactively sharing media innovation news and organising expert POVs from within the Maxus network to ensure relevance for Huawei for all things Performance related
- Regularly liaising with the main search and social specialists (e.g. Google, Facebook) to ensure we are constantly updating Huawei clients on their latest products and services
Client Relationship Management & Prioritisation
- Build and maintain effective client relationships that enable you to control client workflows, manage competing demands and manage expectations
- Build relationships with Procurement, as well as Marketing teams within the client
Market Management
- Maintaining relationships with the required digital practitioners within the markets
- Helping senior team members achieve market consistency across performance KPI setting, reporting, performance management, or technical requirements such as naming conversions
- Helping markets to troubleshoot scenarios and use your point of view as a regional practitioner to supply best practice advice
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of digital marketing preferred
- Proactively seek feedback on your work to take it to the next level
- Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines and able to multitask
- Ongoing interest in digital marketing, industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies
- Client servicing experience and good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in UX, Paid Search & SEO is an added bonus
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant industry
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Creative and a good team player
