About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team building Quizlet’s Ads platform team, a core part of how we sustainably support millions of learners worldwide. This team owns the end-to-end ads stack, including programmatic and direct ads, video ads, SDK and exchange integrations, and partnerships with ad quality and measurement vendors,, across web, iOS, and Android. In this role, you’ll lead and grow a high-performing group of engineers while partnering closely with Product, Data, Design, Revenue, and external partners to shape the ads roadmap and execution. You’ll drive engineering excellence in systems that must balance scale, performance, reliability, user experience, and monetization impact. As a senior leader, you’ll stay technically engaged, influencing architecture, guiding complex integrations, and leading initiatives that improve platform robustness and developer velocity. This role requires comfort operating across multiple platforms and domains, navigating tradeoffs between product experience and revenue goals, and building systems that perform at global scale. We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our New York office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company.
