München, Bavaria, Germany April 15, 2026 Full Time

About the role

We’re building rugged, high-performance off-road robotic vehicles, and we’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who wants to turn circuits, power systems, and sensors into field-ready capabilities for soldiers.

In this hands-on role, you’ll design and integrate electrical systems that work seamlessly with mechanical platforms and payloads, ensuring our robots perform reliably under real-world conditions. This is more than wiring diagrams — you’ll be shaping complete systems that operate in harsh environments and deliver mission-critical functionality.

 Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical system design, embedded electronics, or robotics
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces
  • Expert in wiring harness design and electrical schematics, preferably with strong EPLAN skills
  • Comfortable designing for harsh environments: vibration, dust, water, and temperature extremes
  • Experience designing for rugged environments and tight mechanical packaging
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solver and troubleshooter who can balance performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar

 What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for UGVs, including power distribution, control electronics, and payload interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure wiring, space constraints, thermal loads, and mechanical stresses are fully accounted for
  • Engineer sensor, actuator, and communication integrations for complex payloads (manipulators, radars, cameras, etc.)
  • Develop and validate electrical architectures that are robust under shock, vibration, dust, water, and extreme temperatures
  • Prototype, test, and iterate electrical and embedded systems rapidly to meet customer mission requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and integration notes
  • Solve real-world electrical challenges with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
  • Debug electrical systems in the lab and field, from oscilloscopes to power analyzers, thermal cameras

 Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • A shaping role in an emerging dual use company
  • Opportunity to work with a highly innovative, international, and dynamic team
  • Room for professional growth and development
  • Participation in the company's success, with access to regular events, knowledge exchange and meetups
