The Senior DevOps Engineer / Lead Technical Solutions Consultant is a technical authority responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting scalable cloud and DevOps solutions, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure AI, and Kubernetes. The role partners closely with Sales, Business Units, and Global Solutions teams to support pre‑sales initiatives, proof‑of‑concepts, and production environments, while driving innovation, operational excellence, and best practices across cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert in DevOps and Cloud Engineering
  • Lead and support Sales and pre‑sales initiatives, including solution design and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) resources and regional Global Solutions teams
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and hands‑on support to internal teams
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines (Azure; AWS is a plus)
  • Support server administration and maintenance across internal and cloud environments
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices
  • Develop innovative, cutting‑edge solutions and recommend process improvements
  • Support Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations on demo or client environments
  • Coordinate project deliverables and monitor progress to ensure timely execution
  • Influence technical direction and resource allocation for programs and services
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • 5+ years in DevOps, IT Support, Software Development, DBA, Implementation, or Customer Support
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services (Citrix Cloud required; AWS is an advantage)
  • Mandatory experience with Linux environments; Windows Server experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical tasks with minimal supervision

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • JavaScript
  • Web & Application Servers: Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic
  • REST APIs, Open API, Web Services (XML, XSD)
  • Message brokers: ActiveMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ, JMS

Certifications

  • AZ‑900 – Azure Fundamentals
  • AI‑900 – Azure AI Fundamentals
  • AZ‑305 – Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Nice to Have

  • Oracle Database and Oracle Reports Services
  • Shell scripting (Bash, KSH, CSH)
