Your role as Senior Data Engineer
You’ll build and evolve the data platform that powers everything we do, from loan decisions and risk models to the dashboards our teams use every day. You’ll join a compact, high-impact team of data engineers, scientists and analysts who keep our pipelines fast, our systems reliable and our models explainable. Together you’ll turn complex data flows into scalable architecture that helps us lend smarter, and faster. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering and colleagues across the lending journey, from decisioning and risk to funding and portfolio management. The data you build directly shapes how businesses get financed and how we keep improving that experience. This is not a maintenance role. You’ll design the next generation of our data platform, from ingestion pipelines and credit models to MLOps foundations that keep everything running smoothly. You’ll set the standards for scalability, quality and compliance, while giving data scientists and analysts the tools they need to move fast and build with confidence.
What your day to day will look like
Define and deliver the data product strategy and roadmap across domains such as Lending, Funding, and Risk
Prioritise initiatives, manage the backlog, and keep stakeholders aligned on progress and outcomes
Translate business needs into data products that improve decisioning, automation, and insight generation
Work with the Head of Data, Product, and Engineering to turn BridgeFund’s vision into actionable initiatives that create measurable value
Build scalable datasets, credit and behavioural scoring models, and performance dashboards as part of a productised data platform
Safeguard data quality, governance, and documentation in close collaboration with Compliance and Risk
Measure impact through experimentation, AB testing, and performance tracking
Communicate clearly with teams and leadership to make complex data concepts simple, visible, and actionable
