Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities: - Prioritizes, leads, and participates in efforts to ensure the team keeps pace in the evolution of technology and consulting including AI, systems, and trends. - Provides direction, feedback, and leadership in an environment of rapid change. - Leads continuous improvement initiatives within the organization by identifying areas for enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance. - Proposes tailored solutions that are linked to client business needs. - Collects and analyzes relevant data, conducts client interviews, prepares workpapers and reports, and serves as lead subject matter expert on projects. - Plays a pivotal role in designing and configuring accounting systems, working in collaboration with accounting and IT client leadership to establish robust systems that streamline financial processes, maintain data integrity, and support compliance. - Generates comprehensive financial and operational reports by analyzing data, synthesizing information, and presenting key insights to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. - Organizes, establishes, and monitors progress on project work plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Escalates issues with timeline, scope and budget to engagement manager and/or industry leader. - Serves as a lead in services and business development maturity including asset and methodology design and upkeep. - Trains, mentors and/or serves as performance coach to Consultant I’s and Consultant II’s. Delegates and leverages work to ensure staff development. - Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years’ experience in a professional services firm or 5+ years of private industry experience focused on the financial and/or accounting space. - Implementation experience with Sage Intacct (experience with an equivalent Cloud-based technology may also be considered). - Openly discusses real or potential problems with clients or project team members, listening, comprehending, confirming, and representing client requirements with various levels of stakeholder. - Occasional Monday through Friday travel required Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in related field - Training, support or consulting advisory experience. - Experience with compliance or professional standards associated with area of expertise. - Experience in the NGE (Non-Profit, Government, and Education) or Healthcare industry. - Works towards obtaining additional appropriate advanced certifications. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 to $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
