About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Next.js Developer with strong hands on implementation skills to design, develop, optimize, and maintain high performing web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React.js, Next.js, modern frontend engineering practices, and experience working in fast paced product or engineering environments.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and React.js .
- Implement and optimize server side rendering (SSR) , static site generation (SSG) , and API routes within Next.js.
- Build reusable UI components, hooks, and libraries with strong attention to performance and code quality.
- Integrate REST APIs / GraphQL services, ensuring seamless UI/Backend communication.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate business requirements into functional, high quality features.
- Optimize application performance, load time, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement responsive UI/UX and ensure cross browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely bug fixes.
- Maintain deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and collaborate with DevOps/Cloud teams as needed.
- 5 8 years of total frontend development experience.
- Strong hands on expertise in:
- Next.js (mandatory)
- React.js , React Hooks, Context API
- JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind or similar styling frameworks
- Experience with:
- SSR, SSG, Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
- State management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil or similar)
- REST/GraphQL API integration
- Performance tuning and SEO optimization for Next.js apps
- Building responsive, pixel perfect UI
- Experience with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Familiarity with micro frontend architecture
- Experience deploying apps on Vercel , AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Webpack, Babel, and bundling optimizations
- Exposure to Node.js backend fundamentals
- Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently and handle end to end module ownership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Detail oriented with a passion for clean, maintainable code
- Adaptability to work in agile, fast moving environments
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong experience)
