Your impact
As a Senior Cloud Applications Engineer (Senior SRE) at OpenText, you will deliver and operate containerized Content Server (CS) Platform–based solutions on Kubernetes across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and Google GKE.
You will play a hands-on role across the full application lifecycle, including deployment, automation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong technical ownership, operational excellence, and the ability to confidently support live enterprise systems in a multi-cloud environment.
What the role offers
Deliver and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Own production deployments, upgrades, patching, and live incident troubleshooting
Build and maintain automation using Helm, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot application, networking, and platform issues to meet SLAs
Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and third-party partners
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting production environments
What you need to succeed
Typically 5+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years running Kubernetes in production
Strong Kubernetes operations skills (kubectl, deployments, services, ingress, configmaps, secrets)
Hands-on experience with EKS, GKE, or AKS (multi-cloud experience is a plus)
Experience deploying and troubleshooting Helm charts and Ansible playbooks
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab preferred) and strong Linux/Bash skills
Solid networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, DNS, load balancing)
