Senior Business Analyst (m/w/d)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong combination of technical expertise and functional analysis capabilities. You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of strategic digital products and system integrations.

The ideal candidate is able to understand complex architectures and data flows while also capturing, structuring, and translating business requirements into actionable specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Gather, analyse, and document functional requirements, business processes, and use cases.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Understand and challenge solution designs, data models, interfaces, and system integration logic.
• Work closely with architects and developers to ensure alignment on technical feasibility.
• Produce documentation such as sequence diagrams, API requirements, data flow diagrams.
• Support backlog prioritization, refinement sessions, and sprint planning with the Product Manager.
• Define acceptance criteria, support testing, and validate end‑to‑end workflow scenarios.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process and system improvement.

• Min 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in complex IT environments.
• Master diploma mandatory
• Strong functional analysis skills: requirements engineering, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Solid technical background with hands-on experience in:
  • system integration
  • Process definition
  • understanding APIs (REST)
  • data modelling and data flows
  • technical documentation (sequence diagrams, interface specifications)
  • application architecture basics
• Ability to collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Experience in Azure DevOps, and modelling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Draw.io, Visio).
• Fluent in English; French, Dutch or Polish is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with AMQP, MQTT protocols
• Professional certifications (BA, Agile, technical certifications).
