Senior Bim Designer (Water) - Bengaluru

Primary Purpose of Job:

Contribute to the ongoing growth of STANTEC ResourceNet India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in the water sector, as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design, outline design, detailed design, and construction support for Water/ Wastewater treatment projects across the STANTEC offices (UK, US, Middle East, Asia Pacific etc.). To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects.

Stantec is looking for Senior BIM Technician / Designers - AutoCAD / Civil 3D /AECOsim / Microstation / Revit with expertise in Civil and Mechanical design and detailing based in the Pune, India office.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation of 3D model and 2D sheets of General arrangement, Site layout, sectional drawings using AECOsim, OBD / Microstation / Revit Software. Well versed with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D to generate high quality outputs.
• To understand design, drafting systems, standards and design development process followed by clients and implement in work.
• Review the input received from client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent.
• Coordination with other disciplines designers and engineers as applicable.
• Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally.
• Should have exp. managing small team.
• Should be able to resolve team member queries as and when required.
• Able to create and work on Custom AECOsim / Revit 3D models wherever applicable.
• Attend project meetings and calls as required.
• Must adhere to company QAQC process and BIM strategies.

Person Specifications:

• BE in Civil/Mechanical or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical
• Should have minimum 6 - 15 years of experience in Civil / Mechanical - Water and Wastewater industry and minimum experience in AECOsim, OBD / Revit / Civil 3D is at least 4 years.
• Experience in Civil / Mechanical Computer Aided Design on Water Industry projects.
• Experience in Point cloud to BIM is a preferred skill.
• Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment.
• Full understanding and support in the development of CAD/BIM standards and procedures.
• Should be good team player.
• Good Oral, Written, Listening, Reading communication skills in English.
• Data / document management system experience, such as ProjectWise, BIM360.
• Ability to work alone and use his/her initiative.
