Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with experience in the working with Python to integrate enterprise data sources work as a consultant for a US-based client out of our South American office(s). This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we rapidly expand our AI Engineering practice globally.

The right candidate will be self sufficient, able to architect solutions independently, and will focus on designing and implementing a production-grade RAG architecture integrated with enterprise data environments. The right candidate will work closely with both the client and internal teams to design scalable, reliable, and business-oriented AI solutions.

This is a highly client-facing role and ideal for a great engineer who loves working with people.

This is a remote role!

Must Have Skills

• Senior-level experience in Python backend engineering (~4+YoE)

• Experience working with data lakes

• Experience working in structured, production environments

• Strong communication skills, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent English
  

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience building or implementing RAG architectures

• Previous experience in AI-integrated backend systems
