Senior Associate - Finance (GST & Indirect Tax)
Riveron India is seeking a Senior Associate – Finance with strong hands-on experience in GST reconciliation, returns filing, and indirect tax compliance, along with solid accounting exposure. This role is ideal for professionals from mid-size CA firms or industry accounting roles supporting indirect tax and statutory compliance.
Qualifications:
B.Com /M.Com or CA Inter (preferred)
3–6 years of relevant experience in GST, indirect tax compliance, and accounting
Strong hands-on experience in GST filings and reconciliations (mandatory)
Experience with mid-size CA firms or industry roles handling indirect tax compliance
Working knowledge of Indian GST and indirect tax laws
Hands-on experience with accounting software NetSuite, or similar ERPs
Strong MS Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting

You have experience supporting end-to-end indirect tax compliance for multiple entities
You have exposure to statutory audits, tax audits, or internal reviews
You demonstrate high attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You have the ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally at a high level of customer service
You must uphold the highest level of professionalism, as well as confidentiality
What You’ll Do:
Prepare, review, and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C
Perform periodic GST reconciliations between books, GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, and GSTR-3B
Identify, analyze, and resolve reconciliation differences and compliance gaps
Support indirect tax compliance, assessments, and preparation of responses to notices
Handle core accounting activities including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations
Assist in preparation of financial statements and statutory schedules
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and auditors for tax and compliance matters
Maintain compliance trackers, working papers, and audit documentation
Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and governance standards
