About the project:

The Market Data Cluster is part of the key area CIO - Corporate Clients and provides market data across the bank.

Our responsibilities include the provision, distribution and contribution of data as well as the connection to exchanges and data services.

As a global hub for market data – with our locations in Frankfurt, London & Lodz – we are the direct link to the business, market data vendors and senior management of the bank. We are responsible for market data licenses, terminals & platforms as well as the bank-wide market data budget. In Lodz, CIO-CC Market Data supports technological, operational and business tasks within Market Data Cluster.. By actively managing vendors, licenses, and requirements, as well as implementing market data platforms and services, the Team is actively driving innovation and process automation.

What you will be doing? 👇

• Active monitoring of applications
• Incidents and problems handling
• Analysis, troubleshooting of the issues
• Providing workarounds and final resolutions for problems to ensure expected support level
• Participating in deployment and release management activities
• Supporting clients in onboarding and resolving application-related issues
• Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in monitoring
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure and product teams to ensure high availability and performance of the application

Additional tasks:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with all interfacing parties, this includes the business and other IT functions
• Provide technical solutions to maintain a high level of operation stability of the applications they support
• Build and document technical operational support tasks and associated governance documentation as Technical Product Manager
• Support projects in the configuration of CI/CD
• Working with big data env and low latency
• Performing requirement analysis, investigating, and implementing solutions, preparing documentation

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows / Window Server Operating Systems
• Strong understanding of Computer Network Principals, including Multicast and Firewall
• Knowledge of network connectivity and security principles
• Database general knowledge
• Good knowledge of Database Management Systems
• Proficient in working with APIs
• Support during the night (on-call)

Nice to have:

• Openshift knowledge
  
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Cloud Computing knowledge
• Investment Banking knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
