Senior Air Freight Process Excellence Specialist

Are you an Air Freight expert who thrives on improving systems, driving process excellence, and making a national impact? DHL Global Forwarding is looking for a Senior Air Freight Process Excellence Specialist to act as the national authority for air freight operational excellence, systems integrity, and process governance across Australia.

This is a specialist individual contributor role where you’ll partner closely with operations, commercial teams, global service centres, and regional stakeholders to ensure accurate rating, billing, compliance, and continuous improvement—while aligning Australia with global Air Freight (AFR) standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the national subject matter expert, you will:

Process Excellence

• Lead national Air Freight processes aligned with global standards.
• Drive compliance and maintain system/data accuracy.

Systems & Issue Resolution

• Troubleshoot CW1, RMS, Auto Rating, Expedient, and BOT issues.
• Fix billing errors and reduce operational risk.

Rates & Billing

• Manage national/customer rates and surcharges.
• Ensure accurate pricing, updates, and auto rating.

GSC Engagement

• National escalation point for system, rate, and process issues.
• Oversee access, validations, SOPs, and performance.

Team Support

• Guide leaders, branches, and operators.
• Support RFQs, quotes, and system onboarding/training.

Continuous Improvement

• Resolve root causes and drive process enhancements.
• Collect feedback and implement improvements.
