Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. 

  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes. 

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment. 

  • Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory management systems. 

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 

  • Support internal and external audits. 

  • Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. 

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the People Manager or required by the business to support team and organizational goals. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. 

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles. 

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment. 

  • Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory management systems. 

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems). 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 

Technical Skills: 

  • IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) 

  • Cost Accounting (including standard costing, variance analysis, and COGS tracking) 

  • Inventory Accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) 

  • ERP Systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) 

  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling, macros) 

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, supply chain finance, or production planning systems 

  • Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience working on projects related to smart grids, renewable energy, or energy management platforms is a plus. 

Please note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week. We do not offer hybrid or remote options. 

Pay Disclosure & Benefits

Compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
