Team Lead, Creative Services
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Team Lead, Creative Services to lead our Creative Services team and drive excellence across creative operations, delivery and brand consistency. This is a newly created role where you will oversee the global execution of design, copywriting and multimedia assets, manage creative workflows and tools, and ensure creative output aligns with Seequent’s brand strategy and standards. This role is primarily focused on leading people, systems and creative quality at scale, rather than individual design execution. Reporting to the Director, Brand and External Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling scalable, high-quality creative services that support a growing, global organisation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget Manage and continuously improve creative operations, including task management systems, service levels and reporting Own and evolve Seequent’s online brand hub and creative tools to empower internal teams and external partners Oversee and develop a global panel of creative agencies and contractors, ensuring effective onboarding and brand alignment Enable brand consistency and quality across all creative touchpoints, in collaboration with brand and marketing stakeholders Partner closely with marketing, internal communications and other teams to deliver impactful creative solutions Apply data-driven decision making and best-practice thinking to improve creative outcomes and scalability Present creative services updates and insights to senior leadership To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or a related field 8+ years’ experience in creative operations, including at least 3 years in a people leadership role A strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership across design, copy and multimedia Proven experience managing creative workflows, budgets and service delivery in a global organisation Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools Experience working with tools such as ClickUp, Canva, Frontify or similar platforms A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to balance creative ambition and operational discipline Additional Information This is an office-based role in Christchurch or Vancouver, with occasional international travel.
