Application Specialist

The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented Christchurch team as an Application Specialist. In this varied role you will use your Geoscience industry knowledge to assist our worldwide technical team with solving complex customer problems. You will become an expert in our 3D geological modelling software and have the opportunity to train others. You will be exposed to a diverse range of geology projects all over the world whilst being based in our friendly and fun Christchurch office. If you are an experienced Geologist with strong computer skills, and a customer focused nature we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Assist the technical team to understand and solve complex customer problems. Train others. Develop new skills in the Software Industry. Have a significant input into how our software looks and works. Test new features in our products. Skills required to be successful in this role: BSC or MSc degree in the field of geoscience. More than 2 years of relevant experience working in the mining industry. Strong attention to detail. Great communication and collaboration skills. A passion for, and deep technical understanding of geoscience software. Experience with Leapfrog is advantageous. Additional Information Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch office three or more days per week. #LI-NP1
