Academic Success Manager
The Role Reporting to the Business Development Manager LAM, we are seeking an enthusiastic Academic Success Manager (ASM) to join Seequent’s Latin America team. This hybrid role can be based in Santiago, Lima, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, or São Paulo. The ASM will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with academic institutions, promoting Seequent’s academic program, onboarding new institutions, and ensuring satisfaction with our solutions. You will also organize events, support adoption, identify growth opportunities, and work with marketing to create case studies and showcase the impact of Seequent solutions in academia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to Build strong relationships with academic institutions to drive product adoption and loyalty. Understand customer goals and demonstrate how Seequent solutions support research, courses, and other initiatives. Analyze usage data to provide insights and improve engagement. Collaborate with Technical Support and Marketing to ensure clients receive training, guidance, and value. Manage contract renewals, addressing obstacles and ensuring timely execution. Organize academic events and identify opportunities for advocacy, such as case studies or testimonials. Work with other regions to improve and promote the academic program. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or client-facing roles. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI). Understanding of customer lifecycle management and subscription models. Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships, adapt to evolving SaaS products, and work independently or collaboratively. Attributes Customer-focused, proactive, and driven to help clients succeed.
