Overview

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Lab Scientist (m/f/d) with a background as Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA/MTA), Bachelor, or master’s in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cell‑based assays (e.g., proliferation, viability, reporter assays, immunoassays, nanoBRET, etc.)
  • Culture and maintain primary cells and cell lines,
  • Establish, optimize, and validate new assay formats
  • Document all work according to industry standards and internal SOPs
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data (e.g., using Excel, GraphPad Prism)
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Scientists and other laboratory teams
  • Contribute to study reports and scientific presentation

Qualifications

  • Completed training as TA (BTA/CTA/MTA) or a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • Hands‑on experience with cell culture (adherent and/or suspension)
  • Practical experience with cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques
  • Accurate, structured, and reliable working style
  • Strong team spirit and motivation to work in a dynamic environment
  • Good command of English and German, both written and spoken
  • Experience with 3D cell culture, Organoids is a plus
