Sap Fico Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a strong understanding of business processes and integration with other SAP modules. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FICO team while working as a FICO consultant with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in below mentioned areas.
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Product Costing
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, and ISU modules.
- Manage integrations with third-party applications
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements and process documents.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams etc.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Experience in New GL, Parallel Ledgers, Profit Center Accounting, and Period End Closings.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP certification in FICO is a plus.Role & responsibilities
