What does the job entail?

He/she has to:

- understand business requirements related to financial accounting in Europe (GL, AP, AR, CO)

- by preference having experience with European business entities

- monitor daily processes and cockpits

- focus on learning the system and assist with basic tasks

- translate the business needs and propose a technical SAP solution

- integrate these requirements with standard SAP FI/CO technology in SAP ECC6 as well as SAP S/4Hana environment

- test new developments and provide technical documentation

- analyze financial/accounting process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements in coordination with different departmental teams

You have a strong IT background and strong experience in development that allow you to challenge the technical solutions, to participate to the development of the solution and you have the interest and the capacity to manage technical oriented projects.

You demonstrate most of these key competencies:

Processes and IT system minded
Team player, stakeholder-oriented
Techno functional role in the financial and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, CO, AA)
SAP FI/CO configuration (manage tickets coming from user, bug fixing & analysis)
Ability to work in extended teams located in Europe and India
Relevant experience in a similar function as IT analyst in another organization
Background with SAP FI module (customizing skills, ABAP and debugging) is required
Eager to learn and adapt in our highly optimized SAP environment
Ability to perform retro-engineering
A masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineer Electronics or equivalent
