Sanitation Specialist 3rd Shift

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.50 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • You will perform sanitation activities for processing and packaging equipment following established procedures and food safety standards.
  • You will support the packaging line by assisting with production runs if needed.
  • You will clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas using chemical foamer, nozzles, and high‑pressure water hoses.
  • You will operate scissor lifts or stair rollers to access and clean elevated or hard‑to‑reach equipment and surfaces.
  • You will perform basic janitorial tasks, including cleaning exterior areas, restrooms, and breakrooms.
  • You will follow chemical handling, lockout and tagout, and safety procedures at all times.
  • You will document completed sanitation tasks according to site requirements.
  • You will work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support efficient operations.
  • You will identify and report sanitation or equipment concerns to the Sanitation Team Leader.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a sanitation, manufacturing, or food production environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Willingness to work an onsite schedule from Wednesday through Sunday.
  • Willingness to cross train on the packaging line as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills and a team‑focused mindset.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:
  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
