Sales Executive - Securities Lending
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Execute structured prospecting campaigns in coordination with marketing (outreach, discovery calls, follow-ups).
- Present and sell the Passive Income Plan, addressing client questions and objections.
- Track and manage pipeline activity and outcomes in the CRM.
- Build strong knowledge of securities lending to credibly advise prospects.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and report on key sales KPIs (call volume, reach rate, conversion, revenue).
- Participate in funnel reviews, coaching sessions, and sales training to improve performance.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted contact for clients and respond to queries.
- Onboard new clients (KYC/AML, enrollment, platform guidance).
- Follow up on client requests and ensure full resolution.
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Process client requests in line with FINMA regulations and AML/KYC requirements.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, and Back Office on complex cases.
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role within capital markets, financial services, or a related FinTech environment.
- A genuine interest in and understanding of capital markets, trading, or investment products.
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline and convert prospects through structured outreach and follow-up.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear and compelling conversations.
- Comfortable operating within a longer-term, consultative sales cycle.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and driven by accountability — someone who sees targets as a challenge to rise to.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a strong asset (French, German, or Italian).
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Experience working in a regulated banking or brokerage environment.
- Familiarity with Swiss financial regulations (FINMA) and/or EU frameworks (MiFID II, AML/KYC).
- Knowledge of Swissquote's product suite or similar online trading platforms (MetaTrader 4/5, eForex, etc.).
