Sales Engineer
Job Description:
Quartermaster’s sales engineers are responsible for both pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales deployment, working closely with customers to understand their requirements and demonstrate Quartermaster’s Smart Mast product capabilities.
Technical Consultation & Proposals: Generate concept designs, technical proposals, and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) or Request for Proposals (RFPs) in coordination with the growth and proposal team.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical interface between Quartermaster’s engineering community, B2B partners and government counterparts.
System Deployment: Plan and execute the deployment of Smart Mast product in support of customer operations.
Risk Analysis: Perform preliminary risk and opportunity assessments for potential future efforts.
Product Development Liaison: Provide feedback to product teams to customize and improve technology based on field feedback.
Market Intelligence: Staying updated on industry trends and competitor offerings, and providing feedback to product teams.
Key Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field is typically required.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the software and hardware for defense
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and design solutions.
Travel: Ability to visit client sites for meetings and demonstrations
