The Role:
SALES ASSISTANT
Being a sales assistant at the Clarke Group, means you will be trained in the following areas of the store; checkout, deli, barista & shop floor.
To role of sales assistant is to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner providing an exceptional standard of customer care
MAIN DUTIES
To deliver exceptional Customer Service to all customers at all times
Preparation of food products for sale in accordance with all company hygiene and food safety procedures
To complete customer sales at the checkout in a warm and friendly manner
Ensuring that products are merchandised and presented to the highest standard
Compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations
To follow departmental opening and closing procedures
To be familiar with all price promotions and continuity promotions and be able to explain and promote to our customers.
Ensuring the store is tidy and well presented at all times
To deal with customer queries in a professional and pleasant way and refer to the store manager where appropriate
To work as part of a team and to engage with you colleagues
