House Manager & Meal Prep Support
Title: House Manager & Meal Prep Support
Location: Williston, VT 05495
Employment Type: Part-time (15–20 hours/week)
Proposed Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $25–30/hour based on experience.
Requirements:
- Maintain a smoke-free environment
- Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Pass background check
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Infant CPR certified (family willing to cover certification cost)
Proposed Schedule:
- Approximately 3 days per week (example: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday/Thursday).
- Flexible daytime hours starting around 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM.
- Potential opportunity for additional hours in summer months when daycare closes early.
About Our Family:
We are a busy, dual-working household with two young children (toddler and infant) and a dog. Both parents work primarily from home in demanding, high-focus careers and are deeply committed to both their work and their family life. With a recent return from maternity leave, the household is in a transition period where having strong operational support will make a meaningful difference in day-to-day quality of life.
We value routine, structure, and creating a home environment that feels calm, functional, and supportive. We are looking for a partner who can step in, take ownership of key areas, and help create sustainable systems so our home runs smoothly even during busy work seasons or travel.
We have full-time childcare in place, but we appreciate flexibility for occasional backup support or seasonal schedule adjustments when daycare hours shift.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For:
You are proactive, confident, and action-oriented. You see what needs to be done and take ownership without needing close direction. You are comfortable making decisions, building systems, and bringing structure to a home that is busy but deeply values organization and balance.
You are a strong communicator who is comfortable asking questions, providing updates, and collaborating with two working parents without needing to be micromanaged. You bring a calm, competent presence and take pride in making life easier for the families you support.
You likely thrive in roles where you can work independently, problem solve, and create long-term efficiencies — not just complete daily tasks. You are detail-oriented, reliable, and take initiative naturally.

- Track warranties, service records, and household documentation.
- Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
- Support travel planning logistics and preparation.
- Maintain family calendar reminders and household scheduling.
- Assist with light receipt tracking and household admin backlog (warranties, licenses, returns, etc.).
