How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Maintain continuous survey readiness through compliance with regulations from various regulatory agencies.
• Implement and maintain compliance of the Environment of Care (EOC) program, including fire safety, hazardous materials, safety/security/waste/utilities and emergency management (EM). Maintain documentation of findings and improvements.
• Identify risks based on regulatory interpretation and other methods, and apply to policy creation.
• Monitor potential and actual environmental hazards. Participate in root and apparent cause analysis, investigative activities, and recommend remedial and corrective actions.
• Lead emergency coordination (EC) rounding activities, EC/EM related education, and EOC/EM Committee(s).

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
