Safety Manager, TX

Safety Worxs is seeking a skilled Safety Manager to support our client in a large-scale data center construction projects. This role requires experience in fast-paced, high-volume construction environments and the ability to manage safety across multiple trades and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Data center, semiconductor, or mission-critical project experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance
• Experience managing subcontractors in complex environments
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred: 

• OSHA 500
• CHST, CSP, or similar certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

Duties include but not limited to:

• Lead site safety programs in alignment with OSHA and client requirements
• Serve as the lead safety representative on-site
• Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Oversee high-risk activities including electrical work, equipment operations, and installations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards across all subcontractors
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding support
• Collaborate with project leadership to drive a proactive safety culture
