Job duties

As a Russian Localization Expert, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all assets localized from English to Russian meet Capcom’s quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Translate text from English into Russian or check translated text to produce top-quality localizations
- Create and manage Russian language assets, such as glossaries, translation memory and style guides
- Track, evaluate, and fix linguistic bugs as required
- Provide feedback to Localization Directors on culturally sensitive issues
- Propose improvements to workflow process for optimal translation quality
- Work with other localization members on team objectives 

Requirements:

• Native speaker of Russian
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Russian and English
• Have experience in localization (preferably in the gaming industry)
• Ability to review, create and adapt processes to focus on efficiency
• Be able to work with a team
• Be competent in self-management
• Be able to follow deadlines
• Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects when necessary
• Broad knowledge of current cultural sensitivities in Russian-speaking regions
• An interest and passion for video games and the game industry
• Japanese language ability is a benefit but not required
